What was the problem?
I have used numerous brand name hair products from various stores and hairdressers, only to become disappointed and toss them into a closet bin. I resented paying $20 or more per bottle for shampoos, conditioners, and other hair products that did not work. I even bought featured products on a popular shopping network that only disappointed. Having a Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition, products that contain healthy ingredients and provide nutrition to the scalp and hair are as important as having products that work well. Products of this caliber are not sold in your department stores or hair salons.
My hair would never get beyond a certain point since it continued to become frayed, break off, and be cut. Hairdressers would say, "Your hair is damaged…I have to trim at least an inch." Growing long hair was not feasible since the new length was always cut off. I was ready to give up…

I accidentally found Healthy Hair Plus while searching for hair products that contain vitamins and other healthy ingredients that would nourish and protect my hair, grow hair faster, and be reasonably priced. Healthy Hair Plus is a hair products manufacturer with natural-based products that contain vitamins and other benefiial ingredients. They state: "Our focus is formulations for healthy and vibrant hair, developing targeted solutions for common hair problems, and treatments for healthy hair, rejuvenation and growth while providing safe, natural products that get results. Extensive research has produced truly effective, high-performing products for moisturizing, deep cleaning, dandruff, scalp psoriasis, curly, straight and coarse and ethnic, black and African-American hair styles and types. A natural-based, botanical solution is our mission." Healthy Hair Plus manufactures hair products for all ages, cultures, and hair types.
I have used many of Healthy Hair Plus' products, and they are all great. The Nourish line is my favorite. I bought the Nourish Faster Growing Hair Kit that contains 10 amino acids and 6 vitamins essential to hair nutrition. Since I am not the regimented type to take pills, I never used them. Perhaps taking the vitamins may have resulted in even more hair growth.
The So Strong Leave-In Conditioner is amazing. The Nourish Thermal Protector protects hair from heat appliances. I have used many leave-in products and thermal sprays that either did not work or made my hair feel sticky as if I had used Elmer's Glue. My hair would become "stuck" to my fingers, hair brush, and even my hairdryer, and then snap off.
The other products that have used are: Nourish Deep Treatment, Emu Shampoo and Conditioner, Keeping the Color Shampoo, and Transparent Sealer. Why so many products? The products work well, and I personally like to use a variety of products and "switch off." The Healthy Hair Plus products are reasonably priced, so having a variety of products amounted to the same price or less than purchasing merely one bottle each of name brand shampoo and conditioner, leave-in treatment and deep conditioner. Since my hair is chemically processed with a relaxer and hair color, the Healthy Hair Plus products are compatible since they contain natural-based, botanical ingredients.
Healthy Hair Plus also has Moroccan Oil. Moroccan women are acclaimed for their beauty. The natives use (Argan Oil from the Argan tree) on their hair to soften it, detangle, repair and replenish it with nutrients. You can use 5 ml to coat hair prior to coloring it, and 10 ml in haircolor to condition and make color last. Moroccans also apply Argan Oil all over their bodies to alleviate skin problems and maintain youthful skin.
